Faith.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity. She can laugh at the days to come.” (Proverbs 31:25) I love that bible verse! What a great reminder of what our lives should be striving for as women of faith. My belief is that Jesus died on the cross for my sins so that I don’t have to be perfect, but that he covers my sins, and can meet me right where I am, imperfections and all. Before my grandmother passed away, I asked her how she was able to handle all of the stresses that life pushed at her. Her answer? “Through laughter and prayer.”
Though life isn’t always easy, (actually for me I feel it is RARELY easy) I love that my grandmother had been through so much, yet she could still laugh like no other. She could put her trust in the Lord, and know that somehow, some way, everything would be okay. It is something I need to work at daily.
- At church I serve as co-leader of our Pink Women’s Ministries. I will be posting Women’s Ministry Ideas on my blog for any ideas. Here is a tidbit about our ministry:

“Our mission is to EQUIP and ENCOURAGE women to become all that God created them to be. Through building spiritual friendships, encouraging one other, teaching one another, and praying for one another, women can experience the freedom God has for us.”
- I also serve in the girl’s ministry at church, teaching young girls about the importance of faith and having a relationship with Jesus Christ.
