ALL ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Heather Prince and I am excited to be able to share my love of faith, family, food and fitness.

Faith.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity. She can laugh at the days to come.” (Proverbs 31:25) I love that bible verse! What a great reminder of what our lives should be striving for as women of faith. My belief is that Jesus died on the cross for my sins so that I don’t have to be perfect, but that he covers my sins, and can meet me right where I am, imperfections and all. Before my grandmother passed away, I asked her how she was able to handle all of the stresses that life pushed at her. Her answer? “Through laughter and prayer.”

Family.

I am blessed with an amazing family! I have been married to my husband Jerry, a graphic designer by day, and a sound production designer by night. He is a man of many talents and will figure out ANYTHING if he has to. He is a great daddy to our two precious children, our son who is 6, and a daughter, 4. Those two little people have taught me more than I could have ever imagined, and I am so blessed to be on this journey of life with them.

I am the oldest of three children and I having an amazing Mom and Dad that have always supported me in anything I do, regardless of whether they had the same religious beliefs as I did. All three of us children have gone on to become teachers. How cool is that? I love my brother and sister so much and pray for them daily. I have watched them grow to become such gifted and talented young adults.

Food.

What can I say? I love food! I love eating healthy and processed free, when possible. I plan on sharing healthy and easy recipes on a budget. That is my passion. Cheap, easy and healthy. If it fits in those three categories, and my family will eat it, then I am all in.

Fitness.

Exercise and health are extremely important to me. I am a health teacher by profession and I love every minute of sharing my passion with those kids! Physical health is directly related to all other parts of our health, including spiritual health. “Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and the spirit that dwells within you?” (1 Corinthians 3) Our body is a temple, let us treat it that way.
